Damask is woven in stripe and check patterns. Customers love the soft feel and the fact that damask resists wrinkles.

Sateen is a two-sided fabric that is absolutely lustrous on one side and more matte on the other. It does so beautifully that Coyuchi is able to affer this light-catching sheeting in the richest tones. Coyuchi's sateen sheets have a silky hand and an ideal density for cool-weather sleeping.

Coyuchi is one of the most famous and well-respected names in the organic bedding industry. Each and every bed and bath item is made from 100% certified organic cotton under fair trade conditions. No harmful agricultural chemicals used in production. All of Coyuchi's cotton is grown "by hand" on family farms in India.

The softeners used in the finishing of their bedding is OTA and SKAL certified, so you can rest assured your best interests are being taken into account.

They also use low-impact fiber reactive dyes that have less of an enviromental effect, using less water and less heat to accomplish the dye process

Coyuchi's cotton is produced by family farmers who grow all of their crops organically and bio-dynamically on farms ranging in size from 2 to 10 acres. All are Fair-Trade Certified and members of the Chetna Organic Farming Association. Farmers are paid about 50% more than they would earn for conventional cotton.
