Why Organic and Recyclable Products?
When we were young and carefree (boy, does that make us sound old!), we never thought much about chemicals and pollutants, let alone the earth and the imprint we will eventually leave behind. Product fillers, recycling, landfills, and global warming were just not part of our vocabulary and we went about our merry way with blinders on. It wasn't until we got pregnant that we really started to take a good look around us and faced reality. The vast majority of products out there - particularly those directed at children - are riddled with toxins, corrosive chemicals and harmful dyes.In 2004, when we looked into the eyes of our newborn daughter, we knew things would be different. Like you, we wanted only the best for ourselves and our child child and started looking for more natural and organic alternatives to the mainstream products out there.
By no means do we fit into the "granola" mold. Only over the past few years have we grown to know more about organics and all-natural products. And that's why our store is different than other organic shops. Sure we have the standard "green" items; but we also offer other more mainstream items for those who aren't entirely green themselves.

Shipping Information:
All items shipped directly from our store will be mailed within 3 business days of receipt unless otherwise indicated. Pure Rest and EcoBaby items may take up to 7 days to ship, although we do our best to get these to you sooner. If you need them faster, just please email or call us and we'll do our best for you!
If you are ordering a gift, please leave us a little note in the comments section so we are sure to send a "blinded" packing slip to you or the recipient rather than a full invoice with pricing enclosed. You'll still receive an accurate detailed invoice via email, however.

Any questions you may have will be responded to via e-mail within 24 hours Monday through Friday. Any e-mail correspondence received after 5:00 on Friday will be responded to on Monday morning.
Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
We understand that not all purchases end up being ideal and that at times things may be returned.
Typically, items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receipt. See below for details. No restocking fees apply to items shipped directly from our store.
20% restocking fees apply to orders shipped from Coyuchi, Holy Lamb Organics, Pure Rest Organics and EcoBaby Organics. We're so sorry to have to do this but these manufacturers won't accept undamaged returns without steep restocking fees and so we don't have much of a choice. Of course if there is any damage to items received from these brands, we'll gladly take care of that for you! Again, there are no restocking fees associated with all other brands we offer.
Please email us at support@thisthatotherthings.com to receive a Return Authorization. No returns will be accepted without prior contact with our service department.
For health and safety reasons opened pillows, mattresses, teethers, nipples, and pacifiers may not be returned unless defective.
Also, due to the nature of using electronic codes, gift certificates may not be returned or refunded.
Exchanges for different sizes, styles or completely different items are always welcome within 14 days if you're not satisfied with your purchase. There is no fee for such exchanges, though shipping charges will not be reimbursed, and you will be charged the actual cost to ship the exchanged item/s to you (via the cheapest way possible).
If you return for a refund an item that was shipped using a free or discounted shipping offer, we will deduct from your refund the cost we originally paid to ship that item to you.
Defective or broken items will be replaced with a new identical item at no expense to you, or with a similar item if an identical replacement is unavailable.
