Under the Nile exemplifies fair trade principles, practicing fairness towards all those involved in the entire production chain. A fair price is paid to all workers and employees, from cotton growers to weavers -- all receive fair wages. The company ensures that its employees work in a comfortable environment that includes open space, sufficient light, and fresh air, along with exercise activities during the day. Two organic meals are served to all its workers on a daily basis.
